Read instruction manual before you start cleaning your appliances

As with all appliances, it is important for you to read your TV’s instruction manual. This will help you avoid simple mistakes that can damage or destroy your TV. You will know how to properly take care of your TV after you read the instruction manual. 

Avoid electrical surges

An electrical surge can destroy your plasma TV. It is important that you protect your TV from this type of damage. Make sure to use a surge protector to prevent any electrical surges. You can find a good surge protector at most home goods stores. Simply plug your TV into the surge protector and then plug the surge protector into the wall. You should also plug all your other home entertainment equipment into the surge protector.

Avoid burn-in

Burn in occurs when a plasma TV displays a still image for an extended period of time. You can easily prevent burn-in from damaging your plasma TV screen. Avoid playing video games that have stationary backgrounds, and do not leave movies or games paused for an extended period of time.
